Your car. Its history.
About Moterno
Moterno is a digital home for your vehicle — a durable record of its ownership, service, maintenance, documentation, photographs, and story that grows with it over time. The vehicle is the protagonist; everything else — owners, workshops, followers, clubs, meets — is built around a record whose identity persists across ownership changes.
The problem
Enthusiast-vehicle history is usually fragmented — service books, invoices, photographs, folders, workshops, previous owners, old forum posts, and memory. Moterno brings that material together into one coherent record, built around a single question: what is the complete story and documented history of this vehicle?
Maintenance reminders are useful, but Moterno isn't a fleet-management system or just a service-reminder app.
What's in it
- Digital garage
- An overview of every vehicle you own, previously owned, manage, or follow.
- Timeline
- One unified, chronological view of everything that's happened to the vehicle — the primary way its history reads.
- Service journal
- Structured maintenance and repair records sit alongside free-form stories, and logging stays fast enough on mobile to become a habit.
- Vehicle-centered social network
- Public profiles, follows, clubs, meets, comments, and reactions — built to complement the permanent record, not to become a generic engagement feed.
- Marketplace
- List a vehicle from your garage — or an independent part — for sale, fixed-price or auction. A listing's history-as-proof is the difference from a generic classifieds site.
- Stories
- Build threads, travel logs, and how-to write-ups — tied to a vehicle, or written freely — organized by category with a newspaper-style index, not a generic forum feed.
Free and Premium
The permanent vehicle record and community are available on both plans. Premium primarily adds room for a larger archive and removes the active-listing limit.

Earlybird Premium
The first 1,000 genuine member accounts receive one year of Premium automatically, measured from the exact date the account is created.
Invite friends, earn Premium
When a friend uses your invite to join, you receive 3 months of Premium. Each successful referral stacks forward from whichever is later: today or the end of your existing referral-earned Premium period.
The referred account must complete verification. If an unverified signup expires and is removed, its reward is reversed and the invite becomes available again.
Privacy by default
- New vehicles, photos, documents, and journal entries start private. Publishing a vehicle does not automatically publish its costs, documents, or history items.
- You choose whether an item stays private, is shared with followers, or becomes public. The most restrictive setting in the vehicle and item chain always wins.
- When ownership changes, the vehicle identity and accepted history continue. The outgoing owner chooses a transfer manifest, private owner-specific material is excluded by default, and the recipient must accept the included files and storage.
- A previous owner receives no special access after transfer. File provenance remains, and a current owner cannot permanently delete a file owned by somebody else.
How we think about it
- The vehicle persists; ownership changes.
- Private by default — sharing anything is always opt-in.
- History belongs primarily to the vehicle, subject to the creator's privacy and explicit transfer rules.
- Documentation increases the value and trustworthiness of history.
