Delete your account
You can delete your Moterno account and personal data at any time. This page explains what happens and how to request it. It applies to the Moterno website and the Moterno Android app.
What is deleted
- Your login credentials, sessions and two-factor settings
- Your profile: name, username, email address, bio and profile picture
- Your comments, reactions, feedback, follows and blocks
- Your club memberships, meet sign-ups, push subscriptions and notification settings
- Your marketplace listings and their photos, and any detached files
- Vehicles you choose to delete, with their full history, photos and documents
What is retained
- Vehicles you choose to keep stay on Moterno without an owner, so the vehicle history is preserved. Your private and followers-only entries on them are sealed so nobody can read them.
- Stories and meets you created stay, attributed to "Deleted user", because other people's comments and sign-ups depend on them.
- Billing and transaction records, where the law requires us to keep them.
- Technical backups and diagnostic logs expire automatically (database backups after 7 days, diagnostics after 90 days).
How it works
After you confirm, your account is frozen for 14 days. Log in or use the link in the confirmation email within that time to cancel. After 14 days the deletion is carried out and cannot be undone. An active paid subscription is cancelled without refund.
